Nishike Mkono — Hold My Hand.
Founded and Led by People with Disabilities.
The Nishike Mkono Movement is a grassroots initiative born in Ngorongoro District. It is led by local disability rights leadership who understand the unique challenges of rural isolation, scattered settlements, and limited transport.
We position disability inclusion as a fundamental human rights case. This is not about charity; it is about justice, dignity, and the right to lead a full, productive life regardless of ability.
Why Ngorongoro?
- Rural isolation and scattered settlements.
- Extremely limited transport and infrastructure.
- Deep-seated social stigma and exclusion.
